Bleak House in Knoxville
3148 Kingston Pike Knoxville, TN 37919
The Historic Bleak House is an Antebellum mansion, and premiere special events venue in Knoxville. With more than three acres of terraced gardens and a 10,000 square foot house, the options for your special event are virtually endless. The garden features ponds, fountains, early-century stonework, punctuated by a wisteria-covered arbor.
Bleak House can accommodate up to 200 guests in the house and on the patio and nearly 400 guests in the garden.
Wedding/special event tours are granted by appointment only.
Bleak House offers both indoor and outdoor space for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Inside we can accommodate 60 for a ceremony, 200 for cocktail-style reception and 75 for a seated meal.
Outside, the possibilities are practically endless. With a capacity of 400 guests and 5 levels of gardens the only limit to accommodations is your own creativity.
All events are special! More than just weddings, Bleak House offers many options for family and business related functions like holiday celebrations, anniversary dinners, baby showers, graduation celebrations, fundraising galas and networking meetings. Our event coordinator will gladly discuss the options available at Bleak House.
For a small hourly fee, anyone may rent the house or gardens (or both!) for bridal portraits and engagement photos, senior pictures, class photos and family portraits. But, if you're officially a Bleak House bride, your wedding package includes access to the house and grounds for two photo shoots.
